Glycol Inhibitor Booster

Regenerate glycol inhibitors, restore pH, and boost alkalinity

  • Concentrated blend utilized for regenerating corrosion control in applications where glycol inhibitors and pH have been compromised. 
  • Restores pH, provides multi-metal corrosion inhibition, and regenerates the reserve alkalinity buffering, which protects the glycol and metallurgy from organic acid formation and pH reduction. 
  • Contains a unique Filming Amine Corrosion Technologies based organic polyamine compound for protection of multi-metal systems. The organic film forming polyamine compound works to establish a rapid and tenacious protective corrosion barrier at the metal surface. 
  • Incorporates an azole compound resistant to oxidizing degradation used for the corrosion control of yellow metal compounds, Copper and Brass. 
  • A blend of non-metallic compounds acts to assist each other as both primary and secondary inhibitors, establishing a strong corrosion film formation at the metal site. 
  • Employs Polymeric dispersants which have been included in X-PO® GIB to retard formation of Calcium ion based salts that can rob surfaces of heat transfer efficiencies. 
  • Dedicated Iron Oxide dispersant polymer that will assist in retarding under deposit corrosion cell formation from the porous Iron Oxide deposits that may be entrained in the system. 
  • Borax component will act as a buffering agent allowing the system to maintain pH over the longer term. Borax in some applications may help to retard formation of microbial activity but all closed systems should be treated intermittently with microbial control agents.
